Light, smooth, and sensitive, the Abu Garcia Oceanfield BG
Veritas 3.0 Slow Jig Combo is a pleasure to fish with. It
features the smooth yet powerful Oceanfield BG baitcaster reel
paired up with the light yet sensitive Veritas rod. A well-balanced
combo for slow jigging!

The Reel
Featuring a carbon matrix drag, HPCR bearings and a back up ratchet
design, the Abu Garcia Oceanfield BG Baitcaster
Reel is designed for heavy duty use. The externally
adjustable MagTrax casting brake ensures efficient casting control
while Duragear brass gears ensure reliability and cranking power.
The Oceanfield BG comes standard with 2 handles. A 95mm cranking
handle and an adjustable 60-70mm power handle giving great
versatility. Whether you need a reel for casting big lures or
dropping down jigs, the Oceanfield BG is ready for the task.

The Rod
Abu Garcia’s most renowned rod series is now back and better than
ever! The new Abu Garcia Veritas 3.0 Softbait Rod
features increased comfort and improved weight and balance. Veritas
rods combine a 30-ton construction with SubLayer Armor for
uncompromising strength and sensitivity in a lightweight, balanced
design.

Fuji components feature throughout the Veritas range – from Fuji KR
guides with Alconite inserts and lightweight Fuji reel seats. The
Veritas balanced design is completed with a hyper-tactile Ultralon
EVA grip system for improved ergonomics and overall
sensitivity.
